Legacy Square Affordable Apartments

National CORE

This transit-oriented development provides 60 units for individuals and families earning less than 60% of the area median income and 33 units reserved for homeless individuals.

Legacy Square replaced two under-utilized buildings owned by the Santa Ana Methodist Church and included 1,750 sf of ground-level flex space and a 3,800 sf community center. This project is unique, due to the simultaneous construction of adjacent public improvements, including utility infrastructure as well as trolley car and bike lanes. Legacy Square’s design was accelerated to avoid moratoriums placed on public streets once the City work was completed. Fuscoe’s team worked diligently with the City, client and contractors for plan approvals to meet the tight construction schedule.
