Jefferson Cenza

JPI

A dynamic mixed-use development situated in the City’s Transit-Oriented District in Placentia’s Old Town.

The five-acre project contributes to transforming the area into a revitalized, vibrant, walkable urban hub that celebrates the city’s rich historical and cultural diversity. A new Metrolink Station is planned just a short walk from both Jefferson Cenza and Old Town. Designed by TCA Architects, Jefferson Cenza is a five-story wrap building featuring 418 luxury multifamily units and 8,200 sf of retail space.

Fuscoe delivered full civil engineering services for the ground-up construction of this project, overcoming a few key challenges along the way. The first challenge was preserving an existing cell phone antenna with access on the site. We addressed this with detailed planning and design strategies to ensure its protection. The second challenge involved managing stormwater runoff that flowed from the site onto the neighboring parcel. Fuscoe designed and implemented a biofiltration system that minimized the runoff onto the adjacent property, ensuring compliance with local regulations while treating the stormwater before it left the site.
