We are proud to celebrate the incredible careers and well-earned retirements of Eric Armstrong and Bob Chase. Both have played pivotal roles in shaping Fuscoe Engineering’s success, and their leadership has left an indelible mark on our company and the industry.
Together, Eric and Bob have consistently gone above and beyond to uphold the highest standards in quality design and heroic service to clients! Their integrity, authenticity, empathy, determination, dedication, and generosity have earned them the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. They will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of working with them.
As we bid farewell to Eric and Bob, we also look forward with excitement as Bryan Smith and the leadership team continue the journey they have paved.
Eric Armstrong
Eric has been a remarkable leader, mentor, and advocate for over 40 years. He was instrumental in founding and leading Fuscoe’s San Diego office, which his guidance and expertise helped shape the office’s success. Throughout his career, Eric has collaborated with many esteemed clients on iconic projects, such as the redevelopment of the Town and Country Resort, Del Mar Fairgrounds and Racetrack, Sycamore Ranch Golf Course, Sapphire Tower, Discovery Hills Master Planned Community in San Marcos and the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa, among many others. His work has had a lasting impact on the San Diego region and beyond.
In his most recent role as Vice President of Regional Offices, Eric supported multiple offices with his vast expertise and visionary leadership. Over the last two years, he has ensured a seamless transition of leadership to Bryan Smith, who now leads the San Diego office with great enthusiasm and dedication.

Bob Chase
Bob has been an integral part of the San Diego’s office success, working alongside Eric for almost 30 years and overseeing Quality Control and Quality Assurance efforts companywide. His commitment to excellence and his role in nurturing Fuscoe’s talent have been invaluable. Bob’s leadership of Fuscoe’s Technical Committee has been transformative, as he implemented processes and systems that ensure its smooth and efficient operation. His contributions to the Fuscoe Quality Mindset Initiative have further solidified his legacy as a champion of innovation and high engineering standards.

I am taking a trip to the Grand Canyon.
